Woman Sues to Wear Veil for License

Okay this article just instantaneously aggravated me.
Muslim Woman Sues to Wear Veil for License
.... You have GOT to be fucking kidding me. This is taking religious freedom too far. Some people believe you can never take the fight for freedom of speech, expression, religion and privacy too far. This is too far. This pisses me off. I'm going to create my own religion that believes in robbing banks. When I get caught for some bank heist that nets me hundreds of thousands of dollars, I'm going to hire a famous lawyer and claim religious persecution. Please tell me there's a line and that we're going to uphold it. Some rights need to be violated otherwise it gets ridiculous. Yeah I said it. The problem with this country is that we're a bunch of spoiled ass motherfuckers, so everytime we're told we can't do exactly what we want we cry like little children. Who's to say what constitutes a religion? Definition #4 of Dictionary.com's explanation of what the word "religion" means says "A cause, principle, or activity pursued with zeal or conscientious devotion." So if I pursue my bank robberies with zeal and the utmost belief that I want to rob these banks... doesn't that make it my religion? Doesn't that mean to prevent me from doing so violates my right to pursue my religion? Child molesters and rapists pursue their activities with zeal and conscientious devotion. I guess that's a religion too.

"Freeman claims her religious beliefs require her to keep her head and face covered out of modesty and that her faith prohibits her face from being photographed." Then she should have to make a choice. What's more important to her... Allah zinging her with a lightning bolt for letting herself be photographed or driving a car, getting on a plane, opening a bank account or using a credit card. It's okay to want your cake and eat it too. It's not okay to want your cake, eat it, spit it back out, then smear what you spit out all over the faces of everyone you meet. Don't even tell me this is just some small matter of her right to religion that doesn't affect anyone else or society in general. People not showing their faces for official identification pictures is a big deal that could have repercussions on people who didn't even know the issue was being debated. The woman's argument is that prior to September 11th, people were allowed to be photographed with their veils for state IDs. Well all that means is that whoever made the laws pertaining to identification made a big fucking mistake. So since we're not a non-democratic Middle Eastern country and therefore can't execute said lawmakers for their abject stupidity, we can at least rectify their mistake. Okay, heated spiel over. My carne asada burrito is getting cold.
