Moment of Silence
I haven't had internet access for a week so I've been dying to come on and talk about Joe Millionaire but first thing's first, I have to throw up an internet moment of silence for the crew of the shuttle Columbia. That just really, really sucks. It made me (and everyone else) remember what it was like watching the Challenger explode. I was in 5th grade and our teacher brought out the TV from her office so we could watch the takeoff. Mrs. Snyder was really proud because a fellow teacher was a member of the crew. We watched the shuttle lift off and started clapping and cheering.. then all of a sudden it blew up. We stared at the TV in disbelief, hands still frozen in mid-clap until it registered what had just happened. I remember everyone crying, even my teacher. I don't remember much of elementary school but I remember that day very clearly.
