24: Some Thoughts After a 2 Week Hiatus
January 11th edit: Had to add Kwame's thoughts too because they're funny as hell and it's fun when he pinch hits on mine.

1. WHAT?!?! Jack dumped Kate for some farmer's daughter 20 years younger? Oh. DUH. I forgot for a moment that Jack was a guy and thus prone to the weaknesses of the average male (such as pedophilia). Oh don't get your boxer-panties in a bunch. There's some truth to that. Why do you think all those pornos have chics dressed as schoolgirls??? Why do you think guys dig chics that are shaved like chickens? Drug Lord Mistress' stock did rise a few points now that we know she's banging Jack Bauer.

2. Nina again? For God's sake will this woman never die?? She's immortal or something. You have to admit though... Remember when she killed that guy with the credit card last season? Nina is pretty bad ass.

3. Even when she's trying to save her man Kim Bauer is so fucking annoying. She's the only character on television that could make saving her father and boyfriend seem like an irritating thing to do.

4. And the winner of the Disloyal Whore of the Year award goes to Michelle, um, Almeida for ratting her husband out to Ryan Chapelle. My favorite part is when Ryan asks her if the mistakes Tony has made are large enough to outweigh his benefits as a person who has been in with Gael and Jack from the beginning. She answers yes, but her "proof" is a complaint from Idiot Girl Kim Bauer. Great job Michelle. It's good you were sucking the head of CTU's dick otherwise you might be saying "Would you like fries with your order?" instead of "We intercepted a signal from one of Salazar's ranches in New Mexico."

5. Chase is taking a pretty good beating. Unfortunately I feel no sympathy for him. He looks a bit like Justin Timberlake so I'm finding his beating more amusing than harrowing.

6. Speaking of which, wouldn't it be great if there was a reality TV show with celebrity participants who get beaten off the show by America's vote? Yeah I realize there probably wouldn't be any volunteers for the show. Too bad we couldn't have someone order them onto it. Stupid democracy thing. Always ruining a good idea.

7. For a moment I almost liked Tony Almeida when he pulled that whole "The left side of the screen" thing. I loved the "Bitch I'm going to deal with you when we get home" look he gave his wife in Chapelle's office. It was either that or a "See, that's why I banged your best friend" look.

8. Please tell me this whole Presidential Brother/Campaign Contributor's Wife storyline has some relevance to the virus. No not THAT virus. The virus being auctioned off by terrorists. The old guy's wife is pretty hot though.

9. I thought tonight's show was kind of boring, but then at the end they threw me for a loop like always. Don't tell me Jack is going to have to nail the chic who killed his beloved wife. I wonder if he'll have to think of Drug Lord Mistress to get it up. NO WAY!! Jack's got his shit so together even his penis obeys his commands instantly.

10. I can't shake the feeling that this season's Main Character Who Dies is going to be Tony Almeida. Don't ask me why. It would be nice though if it was Michelle (and she should take Chloe with her because Chloe is just a useless character with a chip on her shoulder because she was unpopular in high school and lives with seven cats). By the way, I suggested Michelle because we all know Kim is going to be the last person standing. They'd never off the most annoying character in the history of television because then Jack would be sad and he's already paid the Sadness Toll with the loss of his wife.

Kwame's Latest Episode of 24 Thoughts

1. I love Nina, she's like the female Jack Bauer. When they were
banging it must have been the best sex ever.

2. I can't believe how weak the president's story line is. I wanted
him to say "Thats it?!! You dragged me out of meetings to complain that
my brother was banging your wife? You want me to fire him? Come on, this
woman is 20 years younger than you and your in a wheel chair...a girl's
got needs" (P.S. -- she IS hot)

2A. How funny was his brother's reaction? It was like "Yea I did, ya
got me, I'll leave." Priceless.

3. For the first time since the first season I like Tony Almeida (Did I
ever tell you that in the first season Nina was banging Jack and then
Tony after Jack got back with his wife?). I just wish he would have
said something like:

"Ok you are going to listen to the blond bimbo? If it wasn't for Jack
she'd be doing soft porn on Cinemax, AND she's banging her dad's partner.
You can't be serious..."

4. At first I kind of liked Chase but he can't take a beating the way
Jack can, wuss.
