Random Crap
Aud: Okay but if I stay over again, remind me to take a bath.
Riss: Dude you're asking the wrong person. Have you seen me bathe since you got here.
Aud: We've been wearing the same clothes for two days.
Riss: At least we don't smell.
Just then Geo walks out of the house, with Verizon flyers under each of his feet as makeshift slippers.
Aud: Dude that wouldn't fly anywhere else but Jersey City.
Riss: Nope.
Aud: It's funny how it's sticking to his feet.
Riss: He hasn't taken a bath either.
Aud: Is that why he's got those things?
Riss: No, he's just too lazy to walk to the other end of the house to get his real slippers.
Olympics Day 52834
Just kidding, I'm not sick of the Olympics. I love the Olympics!!
Rolan Gardner is pretty damn awesome. Another exception to the men-shouldn't-cry-unless-someone-died rule are men who almost die in the wilderness, lose a toe, survive a bad motorcycle crash, dislocate their wrist, then wrestle their way to a medal in the Olympics, before finally retiring.
Do I need to take back everything bad I've ever said about Stephon "I'm a point guard who doesn't pass" Marbury?? Nahhh. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Go USA Basketball. No I'm not being sarcastic. Okay maybe I'm being a little sarcastic. By the way, Larry Brown is a pretty stand up guy isn't he? I don't think he was trying to be shady at the end of the game but what's an Olympic event without yet more controversy. I am so tired of controversy. Everyone needs to just shut the fuck up and compete.
It's good that pressure from spectators has no effect on Olympic judging. Oh wait, that's not true. Well the judges who were sanctioned for screwing up the South Korean gymnast's start score supposedly also missed a mistake he made and didn't deduct him for it. So I wonder if it all would have evened out. I would love it if someone were to take a tape of Svetlana Khorkina's performances and count up the deductions the judges ignored in her favor. Her real score in the floor would have been like a 7.92 with another point deducted for having ankles that look like they're going to snap like twigs when she lands.
I am going to agree with Michael Wilbon, who voiced what I was thinking last night while watching the track and field events. It's too bad Marion Jones is in only two events this Olympics. She was never accused of any wrongdoing, was just linked to it. She's in phenomenal shape after having a baby, it would have been awesome to watch her compete in the same events she took with a thunder in Sydney.
Okay I'm sorry but it's funny as hell that the Russian shot putter who's been asked to return her gold, sent it away to her brother before the drug test she failed. She's saying she's innocent but wouldn't innocent gold medal winners keep their medals with them? If I won a gold medal I'd wear that shit to sleep.
The U.S. men's volleyball team rocked yesterday. I thought it was over. The team from Greece was really good and feeding off the energy of the home crowd. But then the Americans started a strong run in the 4th and they kind of just fell apart. Good run at the end but you know it's going to take more than that to beat Brazil. Brazil's volleyball team pounces on the other teams' weaknesses like lions picking off the limping zebra in a herd.
Okay Aud wants to go to Target so I have to go. I'll finish this later!
