The Weekend In Pictures

The Weekend In Pictures

I need a kick in the ass to write an actual post about what I did this weekend. So I'm going to use pictures and hope it motivates me to write.

On Thursday night, Steve, Geo, me, Kat, Ray, Mike and Trish went to the Cheescake Factory and stuffed ourselves full of taquitos, crab cakes, spring rolls, miso salmon, cajun chicken littles, crab won tons and whatever they had. This is the after picture, when we're all stuffed:

On Friday night, I got my hair cut then sat around the house doing girly things like painting my nails and well that was it. The rest of the time we Mario Tennised and watched Eurotrip for the eight jillionth time. This picture has nothing to do with Friday night but I forgot to put it up a couple weeks ago. It illustrates why men shouldn't be allowed to play with children's toys. This is either Sean or Geo's handiwork, they were battling:

On Sunday the entire family (Geo's older sister even came in from San Diego) went to his cousin's wedding. The reception was held at the Westin Princeton and it was a very nice affair. The food was amazing, I opted for the filet mignon and lobster tail and ate Geo's tail as well. Heh. Sorry. Dangit I forgot to take a picture of the food. Here we are with the bride and groom John and Janne:

And here are me and Net, because we take a picture together at every momentous occasion (weddings, christenings, bridal showers, trips to the grocery store):

On Sunday, Manny and Janelle came over for a family shindig and we karaoked the evening away while Geo drummed. He did sing one whole song though, U2's "With Or Without You" which was a treat because Geo rarely sings and he has a nice voice. Manny and Janelle were very amusing during the whole thing, I thought they were going to come to blows over the mic and song book. Later on I made strawberry cupcakes, then had to MacGuyver around in the kitchen when Janelle asked for a drink. I came up with Malibu Rum and lychee juice. It is pretty damn good. By the way, this is what she calls her "singing pose":
