Priest Posters

"Get Your Priest Posters Here! Priest Posters!!"

So Catholics have started a new ad campaign with one of their priests posing as Neo from The Matrix. The point of the ads is to illustrate to young kids that "Catholicism is cool." My favorite quote from the article:

"If we can get high-school youth to hang a picture of a priest in their room, that's huge in helping young men to answer the call to the priesthood," the cleric said.

Yes, that's exactly what Catholicism needs. Young boys and girls hanging up pictures of priests in their bedrooms. Not quite what I had in mind when I asked the Big J to do something about our PR problem.

"Father Jon Wants You!!!"

(Yes, going to hell for that, I know.) Seriously though, it just seems like a can of worms. Can. Of. Worms. I want one though.
