Youth Gone Wild
So I took one of those online quizzes that I every so often am a sucker for. This one only had a few questions but I think my personality result is kind of eerie:
"You are Sebastian Bach, former frontman of Skid Row.
You have an almost angelic beauty about you, but your angelic persona quickly disappears as soon as you open your mouth -- you curse like a sailor! You have a reputation for being a bad boy, but its just because you are highly opinionated and fiercely protective of your friends, family and loved ones, so you'll take it to blows to defend any of the above. While most people view you as a raging party animal, you are actually quite intelligent and enjoy engaging in intellectual and philosophical conversation with just about anyone who can keep up with you. Argumentation and debate are your strong points, you can argue any point you believe in to the death, and you always have to have the last word. You generate a lot of respect with your attempts to bring light to issues you feel strongly about through song or other creative outlets, however you'd generate even more respect if you learned to bite your tongue and curb that wicked temper once in a while!"

Sebastian Bach was my favorite lead singer back in those days. I even saw Skid Row in concert. I saw Skid Row, Bon Jovi, Faster Pussycat, L.A. Guns, Motley Crew, Guns n' Roses and a few other bands I can't remember right now. Never saw Poison though, which I regret. Anyone ever see the pics of Bret Michaels banging Pamela Lee? Because he has a fairly impressive package as well. I wonder if she asks men to drop their pants after they ask her out, but before she consents. Wouldn't it suck if Kid Rock was teensy? Even a guy with an above-average-sized penis would be hard-pressed to follow up Tommy Lee. The Mega Ultravibe Pleasuremaster 2000 would have difficulty following up Tommy Lee.
Anyway here are my "Top 5 Hard Rock Songs From The Big Hair Days":
1. "Too Young To Fall In Love" by Motley Crue
2. "One More Reason" by L.A. Guns
3. "Youth Gone Wild" by Skid Row
4. "Mr. Brownstone" by Guns N' Roses
5. "Fade To Black" by Metallica
And my "Top 5 Hard Rock Ballads":
1. "I Won't Forget You Baby" by Poison
2. "You're All I Need" by Motley Crue
3. "Angel" by Aerosmith
4. "Love Song" by Tesla
5. "Always" by Bon Jovi (even though it's a little later than the others. If I had to stick in the timeperiod I'd pick "I'll Be There For You" by Bon Jovi)
